About Remedy Exchange


Lisa Fockler is the Program Director of Remedy Exchange. Lisa has a passion for helping others who struggle with issues around substance use disorders. She has worked in the field of substance abuse prevention for more than 20 years. Lisa holds a Bachelorís Degree in Health Education from Central Michigan University and is also a Certified Prevention Consultant (CPC) and Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES).

Lisa works effectively with small groups and individuals, guiding them through a variety of educational, skill building, and intervention strategies to reduce high risk choices around alcohol and other substance use. Youth and adults will benefit from her years of experience and training as a facilitator of the PRIME for Life program. PRIME for Life is a motivational intervention used in group settings to prevent alcohol and drug problems or provide early intervention. PRIME for Life is recognized as an evidence-based program by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and listed on their National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP). Remedy Exchange was formed on the belief that physical and emotional wellness is achieved when unhealthy, destructive, and burdening choices are exchanged for healthy and empowering choices that can free the spirit of individuals to live the kind of life they desire most.


The mission of Remedy Exchange is to assist individuals in the process of exchanging high risk choices for low risk choices.
